Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

That depends. You can have a banner appear at login using Group Policy with a domain or a local GPO.

Which operating system(s)? Is this in a domain?

for a Windows logon (not sure what OS you are inquiring about) you can specify a Local Security Policy - Interactive Logon - that gives options to customize the tile banner for the logon window and to display a logon diaglog with a text message. Hope this helps.

I have to agree with the other guys, need more information. But, in case you are using Windows Server 2003 or something like it, then look at MS Knowledge Base Article 310430 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310430 This should give you some idea of how to proceed. dmw

If this is for OS/400 or i5/OS, are you looking to have the banner on the signon screen, or after they signon have it show up?

    1. Determine the name of the DSPF the subsystem is using - - DSPSBSD QINTER (or your actual name) - select option 1. This will shown the Sign-on display file & library 2. Using the above Sign-on display file info - DSPOBJD mylib/MySignon *FILE - select option 8 This will show the source file & library the file was created from. 3. Use SDA to modify the file as needed. Also you can see this article for more info. http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid3_gci1118070,00.html
