bad black repair on dvd D drive

how can i repair a bad block when it is on D drive and designated for dvd

You can’t. Once a block goes bad it is bad for ever. On a hard drive you can run chkdsk to have Windows attempt to recover the data from the bad block and mark it as bad so that nothing tries to use it again. On a DVD there’s no way to do this. Copy the data from the disk that you can get and throw the disk away.

    I'd also recommend destroying the drive before you throw it away using a hammer and/or a drill, and, of course, some safety goggles. You never know what's on there that can be recovered by someone with ill intent.
