Hi All,

we have been successfully taking "all online plus logs" using DB13 in our production system. The backup is available in the "sapbackup" directory of our server.

We have installed a new SAP system and want to try out the restore of the above-mentioned backup using "brtools". During this fresh installation we have ensured the following: -

a) Same directory structure as the production.
b) Same SID
c) Different hostname and obviously the I.P

We do not have enough hard disk space on this new server to allow the dump of the backup on it. Thus, we intend taking the dump on a different server and mapping the drive on to this new server.

Help is required for the following: -
a) Steps for "brtools".
b) Setting changes to ensure restore from a mapped drive on the network.
