Backup in LCKW

Hi folks, i have a backup in a LCKW status. I can't find what is locking the backu. I'm using BRMS. I need ideas, please. Thanks in advance.

v5r4, brms

The individual file maybe locked as it is being saved.

If you do a wrkactjob from a command line
Find your backup job
11 work with locks
8 work with obj locks

You should be able to see who or what you are locked with.

    First I'd recommend displaying the job, if active, and reviewing both the job log and the locks. Second, I'd recommend reviewing the message queues for QSYSOPR and the profile the backup is running under. By chance do you have something like iTera, Mimix, or DataMirror active against the data you're trying to save?

    Something look over is the time and schedule time this backup is set to run. Maybe it needs to be adjusted. Also, look at wrkjobscde and place a 5 to display detail and it will give you a clear picture of what is schedule or needs to be realese. Just a suggestion.

    Depending on the type of back up and the sensitivity of the data you can try using the sav while active option.
