 Backup and Recovery Of Hard Drive in Windows 7

Im wondering if someone can help with the following question? I would like to take a backup of the computer in its working state after windows 7 has been installed and then have a backup on a dvd that a user can then boot from the bios and click just a few simple buttons that will install the backup from the dvd and put on the hard drive when the operating system decides to fail etc. Ideally i would like something similar to OEM manufacturers used to do with providing a restore dvd that a user can simply pop in and it will restore the pc to its factory state. Ive had a look at the Acronis true image and this doesnt seem to let me do this without using their software first. Is this method some how possible? Any replies greatfully recieved :)

You can use the built in windows 7 backup tool. First you need to perform a full backup. Then you need to create the system repair disc after the backup. The repair disc is required to bootup computer in order to run the system restore module. It works great, and best of all, it’s included with windows 7.
