The following question was recently submitted by a user via e-mail:

I’m using ArcServe to back up our virtual machines, and I’m wondering what other tools people are using to back up their virtual SQL servers?

I simply use the native backups (or LiteSpeed for larger databases) to backup to a network share on a NAS which is then replicated to a second newtork share each night.

Since you are already an ARCserve user, consider version 12.0 has a VMWare agent and version 12.5 (just finished beta) is exanding that to support HyperV also.
