    We don't know anything about what you used to create the messages nor how the programming stores them. You should find someone who knows the programming that you are using and have them show you how backup and restore works for those messages. . Backup/save does no real good if you can't recover from the backup. . A messed up backup can cause trouble. For example, it can fill all remaining space on your hard drive if done incorrectly. And a messed up restore can create even more trouble if the wrong stuff is written over. . If you don't already know how backup/restore works, simplest is probably just to locate where the messages are stored and copy that directory to some new place. You might copy it to a CD/DVD for example. . Tom
