Networking
I have just started doing sales for a small wireless municipal integrator and I keep hearing the exchange of terminology being used as one in the same, backbone and backhaul.I understand one(backbone) to be the core network and the other(backhaul) to be the links which transmit data back to the core network. However I keep hearing them used as the same thing. What is the core network typically?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I would interpret them as being similar. The backbone is the network itself, while the backhaul is the movement of data over it.
