Hi, just want what am i supposed to do to that member on one source pf to avoid specific user from copying the member of other user. For practical example, I was log in as user A, then i view the list of objects in library of user B, i have an access to display the source of member BBB but i was not authorize to change the code that is correct, then I use option "3" to create a copy of that member and I was allowed to create a copy in my own library. How am avoid user A to option "3" to avoid her/him from copying member to his own library? Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

Within the object authority you can set this authority. “WRKOBJ libraryname” From here take an option 5 to view the authority that is currently set on the person’s library. You can do a *Public Exclude or set an authorization list and if they can alter, reference, etc…

Sorry, but “object” authority does not allow this kind of authority maintenance. The “object” is the file, not members of the file. All members of a file belong to the same user. Different members are not owned by different users nor authorized to different users.

The question has no satisfactory answers since members are not intended for this kind of use.

Use different files for different users if authorities must also be different.
