 AVG Scanning Core Module Server Part has stopped working
Antivirus, AVG, Windows Vista
I keep getting this notice: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the progrm and notify you if a solution is available. Am I protected? I am running Vista and firefox. Please help!

Surely you're not protected but it seems strange that the core module stopped working; did you check if there are other Antivirus programs running? Anyway reinstall the product and/or report any error related to this issue (E.G. search in the eventviewer)
