Automatic Refresh in Notes 8.5.1

The Inbox view does not automatically refresh. This is a feature in Notes 8.5.1. Does anyone know what could be cause. Would deleting Inbox and replacing design to add Inbox back fix issue?

I’m not sure what you mean by the inbox view doesn’t refresh. What isn’t refreshing? However, if you are going to delete it, be sure to create a temp folder and move all the messages from the inbox to that folder prior to deleting the inbox.

    Thanks. When you open Notes, it opens to your Inbox. That's' what I mean. I heard from IBM that this is a known problem with 8.5.1. Fixpack 3 resolves issue. Only a few of my users are effected with this problem. We are now contemplating installing fixpack 3. Thanks.

    I recall this issue happening but in an older version of Notes. I was able to fix it by replacing the MailFS - just copied and pasted from another that works. Not sure if you tried this yet.

    Fixpack 3 is actually the cause when installed on the server. There is an issue in the code in regards to refreshing vs rebuilding the inbox view. Fixpack 4 has been released and has this corrected. See SPR# LMAN82ZS2Y.

    One known issue with the Inbox not refreshing is if the Homepage is set to something that includes the Inbox. If the Inbox is displayed in the Homepage, the opened mail will not automatically refresh. Change the homepage to something like Basics.
