Q:
Auto Sign-on with Telnet
We are migrating away from STRPASTHR to Telnet. Is there an equivalent way to Telnet to another Iseries using the *current Userid/pwd? We would like to continue to bypass the signon screen to the target system and auto signon.

Thanks

never bypass the signon screen for security reason.

- Why telnet? I'd suggest ssh with an authorized key.

The System i can participate in Single Sign-On. You would need to configure an ldap server and Enterprise Identity Mapping first, though. Do you use Active Directory for your network?
