Mshen is right the print server shares are avail to all in the domain. Then you simply navigate to the share \printserverprinter from the workstation and double click the printer or prnters you want to install and all the drivers and settings are pulled down. Also you can email a link to the user and they can just click on the link from the workstation a viola you have printers installed.

You did not say what you have for a network enviroment. You can deploy printers using Group Policy in newer Windows servers or you can create a logon script that would setup your printers.
So, if you give more detailed information about your server and workstations, I could give you more detailed information regarding your network and your personal capabilities, for example, are you comfortable working with scripts or group policies (assuming Windows enviroment).
