How to auto archive only read mails in Lotus Notes?

Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.
Follow the given steps to automatically archive the un-used mails:
1.       Start your mail application.  Go to Actions > Archive > Settings > Criteria.
You can alter the archive criteria by using the option either edit existing criteria or create new criteria. (Here you can specify which Notes documents are to be archived)

2.       Once the above process is completed, go to the list and select the desired criteria from the list and Hit Enable button to enable it.

3.    Go to the Schedule tab and set the schedule for archiving by selecting the option ‘Schedule archiving’ on the Schedule tab. After that, set a time for archiving. Your Notes documents will be automatically archived at the specified time (System must be on at that time).
