Attaching HP Officejet Pro K5400 to iSeries
Has anyone attached an HP Officejet Pro K5400 to the i Series using Ethernet? If so, what model number is in your configuration on the i Series. Our printer will print about five pages from the i Series then refuses to print again until the power is cycled.

Answer Wiki:
I have not attached a printer like this before but it should work. According to the IBM document you should be using *HP520 for your configuration. You should review this web page: <a href="http://http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/7c4c0f5a4d52e3c4862569b4005d198a/ba0863cfa6463903862569c10078c903?OpenDocument">Information on Printers from Hewlett-Packard (HP)</a> How do you have it configured? Is it configured as a LAN printer on the system or is it connected via a Client Access session? You might post the configuration and someone may be able to review it and give you a better answer. You can retrieve the source of the printer into a file and then post that. This is an example: RTVCFGSRC CFGD(PRINTER) CFGTYPE(*DEVD) SRCFILE(YOURLIB/QCLSRC)
