1. AS/SET with is a product used for software development.
2. A software product from the Avantis unit if Invensys. This software provides large, capital-intensive organizations with a comprehensive asset management solution to maximize equipment uptime and help eliminate costly, unplanned breakdowns.
From Carter - AS/SET was originally a tool to develop code in the BPCS product from SSA, although the more intrepid users claimed that it was useful for creating code for all sorts of products and applications. Me, I never ventured out of BPCS with it.
