First off, WRKQRY is used to build the querrys. There are no parameteres.
Did you mean RUNQRY? If so, you can do an F4 prompt and see all available options.
Did you mean QRYMGR?
You need to be more specific.

    Why is library prompt in wrkqry command reatained? next time used it will show last library used.

    The reason the library is retained is to make sure it will still run. It's kind of like a level check for queries. If you referenced a file with the same name in another library it could have entirely different fields and you query would no longer run.

    If you are referring to running a RUNQRY with the *RCDSLT(*YES)
    it uses the record select info you set up in the WRKQRY. That number is 100 lines of conditions.
