How can I force system users to keep their password with special character, I have been assigned this to do, is it possible in AS/400?

Hi,

I don't think there's a parameter to force this in the system, but you can probably achieve this by writing a password validation program.

If you are satisfied with the Password complexity given by Windows Server and AD, then you can synchronize your users AD Passwords to AS400 by Password synchronization tools. AD password rules then apply to AS400 including regularly changing of passwords. By example FastPass from FastPassCorp does this synchronization to AS400
