    A good "user" manual will only exist if the developers for your "AS/400" created one. There's only a small chance at best that any member here can point you to a "user" manual that's relevant for you.

    That's be cause we have no idea what any "user" is even allowed to do on your system much less what knowledge is needed. The PDF linked in the 'Answer', for example, would have less than 5% relevance to a "user" on any of my systems. A significant amount is long obsolete by at least a decade or two, and practically nothing from the past couple decades is even mentioned. And almost none of it is aimed at "users".

    In short, like every other system of similar size and capability, there is no such thing as a general "user manual". The term makes little sense in this case.

    You need to list at least the categories of work that you expect to do on the system. Web services? Database management? Document management? E-mail serving? Government accounting? Warehouse management? Product distribution? Financial institution?
