    Be careful here, once TCP is ended Client Access would not connect. You should first create a shared terminal on your HMC.

    Hi, You may also need to use the commands STRTCPSVR and ENDTCPSVR to start and stop the various TCP/IP services like FTP, TELNET, etc. Regards, Martin Gilbert.

    You also must verify that the tcpip servers you want started are specified as Autostart *YES in the file QATOCSTART. You can view this file with a query or use opsnav to look at and change the server properties. You can also directly change QATOCSTART with DFU or SQL.
