AS/400 Spoolfile
When we type 'WRKOUTQ (OUTQ Name)' on command prompt and press enter, we get 'Work with Output Queue' screen. This screen contains the different spoolfiles with column headings: Opt, File, User, User Data, Sts, Pages, Copies, Form Type, Pty. How can we change the File name specified in the 'File' column for an individual spoolfile if the spoolfile is generated by a query after running the batch?

Answer Wiki:
Hi, Once the spooled file is created you cannot change the spooled file name. Please use the question to follow up on this (add to discussion), instead of asking more of the same questions... Regards, Martin Gilbert.

Although you can’t change the spool file name after the file has been created, you can change it

    before

it’s created via the OVRPRTF command.
