Just like to check-out with you. If the IBM Supplied user profiles default password is not changed but password set to *NONE, will it be possible that these user profiles be used by login on to the AS400 system, taking into consideration that the QSECOFR and DST are properly controlled?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Hi,

If you set the password to *NONE, these users cannot be used to signon. By changing the password to *NONE you are changing the default password on these profiles. This is true for IBM supplied and non-IBM supplied profiles, and is not affected by whether the QSECOFR and DST profiles have been changed or not.

Regards,

Martin Gilbert.
