 AS400 Security Matters
Just like to check-out with you. If the IBM Supplied user profiles default password is not changed but password set to *NONE, will it be possible that these user profiles be used by login on to the AS400 system, taking into consideration that the QSECOFR and DST are properly controlled?

Answer Wiki:
Hi, If you set the password to *NONE, these users cannot be used to signon. By changing the password to *NONE you are changing the default password on these profiles. This is true for IBM supplied and non-IBM supplied profiles, and is not affected by whether the QSECOFR and DST profiles have been changed or not. Regards, Martin Gilbert.
