Hi, I am having a static IP configured to the AS/400 at the client site.But I can't able to connect to the AS/400 using iseries navigator from my site locally. But when I am using the TN3270 plus as telnet mode I ma able to connect it. So please help me in resolving this issue. the error showing when connecting with iseries navigator is given below: while connecting to the AS/400 from my local system its throwing the error socket error function error CWBC01003 in as/400, how can I be able to resolve the problems. Now I am able to have the connection and the only error present now is unable to connect to the server application DDM returned 10060. Please help me, Thanks in advance

It sounds like you have a some blocked ports. You need to open the ports specified in this <a href=”http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/itanswers/iseries-navigator-setup-for-multiple-customers-in-an-outsourcing-company/”>post</a>.

Check the CWBPING command. Use it from your PC to AS400. It will tell if services are available or not.
