We are having some problems printing query reports since a software upgrade. The upgrade now has DBCS file data and print files. The strange thing is the reports will print on some select printers and not on others. It is very strange, some printers and set-up as *VRT Client Access and others are *LAN. The print ability is sporadic as to which printers work and which do not. Is there a system or device setting that may allow our dead printer to print these DBCS reports ? Thanks in advance

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

What software did you upgrade?
If it was working before and not now, check with the vendor of the software.

The software upgrade was our Infinium HR,GL and AP packages. We had some issues with our custom mods but have those resolved. Infinium is now using DBCS code in their PRTF. The data file noe have fields defined as "O" open. Our issue is when we have a query using an infinium file with the field defined with a type "O" for open , sometimes we can print it, other times we can't, and then have to send it to another printer to get it to come out.

If it prints at one printer but not another, the problem is the DEVD for the printer. Compare the description of the two printers to see what is different.
