The customer is using custom gateway using IBM TX series (multiplatform v6) on AIX platform and the client's all IVR related transactions are available through LU 0 protocol only and we should not use any other in order to intract with AS 400 host (CICS).Please clarify the below:
1. The IBM TX Series software can be configured to be a TN3270 Server on the TX Series server, and IVR interface application can communicate with TN3270 but IVR interface configuration requirement is that the TX software must speak SNA 3720 to the IBM host and not LU0. So we need to know whether TX series TN3720 server supports this feature.
2. Can the application gateway configured to look and act as TN3270 server, in order to accept the LU0 data from IBM host through TX series software?
