 Cannot login to AS/400
AS/400 errors, AS/400 user profiles, QCTL
my dears

please help when i  restor the userprofile object i End All SUBsystems withe QCTL once the restoration finished the screen alredy closed so , i cannot login the system when i inter the user id and password the screen is gon please help us

Sounds like the subsystem did not start. i'd do an IPL and signon from your display a display set up as Qconsole. -sarge

I am confused to why you would end all subsystems to restore an object.
Did you restore one or a couple of profiles, or did you restore the system?
Since you ended the base subsystems I cannot see how you would get
a log in screen.
It almost sounds like you have to IPL. To do so you would have to find the
documentation for your system since you will have to use the machine console.

What subsystem were you running in when you ended all subsystems? Was this done from the system console and was your session running in QCTL at the time? (And was QCTL the controlling subsystem?)
