AS400 dispaly file menu options help create
How create help for menu options? For instance, place cursor to any Option Nbr, press F1, and Help will be displayed.

There are three different kinds of system-supported menus. And there are three different types of “help” objects that you might choose to create.

Personally, I create UIM menus and UIM help objects. Most developers don’t create UIM menus, though many of them begin creating UIM help objects. I believe that most developers create either ‘display file’ or ‘program’ menus.

Do you know the type of menu that you’re working with? Can you tell us the types of objects that you are already comfortable creating other than menus?
