I have a user that has AS400 mapped drives. When they access the drive, their Windows account gets disabled!?!? This isn't happening to anyone else. We use EIM to control access to the Netserver folders. He can access the AS400 folders just fine, but when he does, that's it for his Windows account. Any ideas? Scott

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Sounds like user has allowed windows to save his ID/password
Whenever he/she attemps to open the mapped drive windows sends an old password — after three tries the user profile is disabled.

Thanks for the info. Of course, not really being a Windows expert myself, do you know how to undo this possible situation, or how to check to see if this is actually the problem?

Sorry, I don't know either. Odd, on rereading your request you say that he's allowed to open the folder. I don't understand why that would be allowed and yet disable his account.. I'm sure you tried removing the mapped drive and creating a new one. Phil

I'll check again with the support folks here. I know they remapped the AS400 drives, but not sure if it's happened again since they did that or not.
