 AS400 ftp to Windows2003

I am getting an error "Access Denied" when attempting to transfer a file from iseries to win server. I can log onto the ftp session and see the directory of where i want the file to go, but when i attempt the transfer with the put command it errors on me. Need help.

You have to ask your network administrator to grand the write or full authority on the FTP folder in Windows2003 for the user name you used when FTP.

From what system you initiating your file transfer session? I normally will do file transfer in a number of ways. Most of my iSeries to Win 2003 server transfers are using a tool called WS-FTP Pro:

I do my iPTF FTPs from the iSeries server to IBMs site, and have to issue this command:

NA 1

to change the nameformat, which allows me to change to a directory that I have trouble doing otherwise.

Lastly, I do some of my Win-to-Win transfers using this tool:
