 as400 esend esndmail converting to pdf
AS/400
I am using ESEND in as4oo to email spoolfile in text format. I would like to send them also in pdf format without use graphical. Any help? Thanks.

I am not terribly sure what you mean by "without use graphical"... so forgive me if this answer is too generic... but this is the statement I would use just after creating a spool file called "QPSUPRTF" ===> ESEND/ESNDMAIL RECIPIENT('Jack@box.com;') SUBJECT('PDF format attach') MSG('Here''s your stuff') ATTLIST((* *PDF *N QPSUPRTF)) By the way, ESEND docs are available online in PDF format from the vendor (Advanced Systems Concepts) at: http://www.iseries-asc.com

Where are you seeing the error? What is the message identifier? Most importantly, did you do what the message says — Contact Help/System?

I would guess that the product license code needs to be applied to the product, but there’s not enough info to be sure. If a license code has been applied, was it a permanent or a temporary code? When was it applied? Did it ever work? (Is it for your system serial number/LPAR?)
