What is difference between DSPATR(ND) and Field Conditioning indicator in Display field?

The value of a DSPATR(ND) field is sent with the record buffer. It's just made invisible on the screen.
A Field Conditioning indicator can suppress the sending of the value to the screen. The value never goes across the network.
