What is the difference between Cool:Plex and Cool:2E

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I think its just the difference of versions.

Cool:Plex is the older one.

Ignore the above response.

Plex is an x86 based model driven code generator. 2e is an iSeries based model driven code generator. They share a common father. They share some concepts. They are NOT twins.

Cool:plex will generate code in C,RPG,JAVA depend on the paltform you want to deploy. But Cool2e will generate to RPG or COBOL on AS/400 platform only.
