Hi,

As far as I'm aware you can't get client access for free. If you have a licence for client access you can probably request a copy from IBM.

Regards,

Martin Gilbert.

For the last few years (not sure exactly when it started) IBM includes Client Access with the operating system. It resides on the IFS and can be installed from there. In the root directory try /QIBM/ProdData/CA400. You can also burn the images into CDs.
You will still need to license the product but you may already have that license as part of your system..

There are some features are Client Access do not require license (such as ODBC), some do require a license.
