Hi, I'm trying to automate the PRTJOBRPT using CL. The printed report will be copy to PF and send email directly to audit team. I'm having problem with the member (*mgtcol). We all know that *mgtcol is created daily (auto-create), how can I get or retrieve the latest member of performance data? Is there any PF for this member so that I can use the RTVMBRD command?
Thanks.

thanks Tom! but rtvmbrd is for physical file. from my understanding, the performance data member is different to physical file member.

I'm not sure what you're asking. The PRTJOBRPT MBR() parameter is asking for a PF member name. The name should be the member of PF QPFRDATA/QAPMCONF that you're interested in. (Or it might be library QMPGDATA or even a custom library.)

From the Printing the performance reports topic in the Information Center:

    • After you have collected your data, you must create a set of performance data files from the performance information stored in a management collection (*MGTCOL) object. Use the Create Performance Data (CRTPFRDTA) command. After you have created the data files, you can request to print your reports.

You can generate a list of *MGTCOL objects and use their names for the members that are created and populated in the database files. PRTJOBRPT will want the member name that you assigned when you built the files from the *MGTCOL objects. By default, each member name should match one *MGTCOL object name.
