I am trying find a way to change the Customer Friendly Description in the SKU (SKN) DESC.

You need to ask a developer who is responsible for maintaining your database. If you have no developer, you need to ask the vendor who supplied the product that uses the database. And if you are the developer, you need to tell us what you have tried and what problems you ran into.
 
There is a big problem with us giving out basic instructions. If they are simple enough, instructions we give might be used by any other user in the world to make database changes outside of an application’s control. We can’t know how instructions might be used by others, so we need to be careful to work with IT pros who are able to avoid problems.
