We are supporting OS/400 V7 R 1 and we need to know the commands to make the following type of change. (We are new to AS/400). We need to know how to change the OWNER field to *GRPPRF for all user profiles that belong to the group profile of (DEVUSERS). There are over 1,000 user profiles that belong to this group profile (DEVUSERS) so I need a way to make this change using a command instead of having to modify each individual account via menu. What would be the command to make this change and also I do I invoke a command line shell? The current command line is only one line, how do we expand the command line on AS/400?

Software/Hardware used:
AS400 V7 R1

Simplest for you would be to list profiles with DSPUSRPRF *ALL OUTPUT(*OUTFILE), read the records in a simple CL program, and execute CHGUSRPRF for each one that has DEVUSERS as the group profile. -- Tom
