    Since source files don't contain objects, are you looking for a count of the number of members in the file? Simplest way is just the command DSPFD for the file name. The number of members is given under the Data Base File Attributes section. There are programming methods if needed. What task are you needing to perform? Tom

    i think, we can't get the count object within source file.. just we retrieve the size(memory space) of source file..
