Other people will remember those keyboard overlays that IBM used to provide – do they still make those? There were multi page ones so you could mark up all the PF keys for different applications.
That was before CUA standards of course.
Always fun to explain… and REAL 5250 keyboards built liek a tank and had the full 24 keys…
Some what tedious but you can edit the CS popup keyboard and add rows colums to get all the upper function keys added to it and use them by – right click and click needed F key.
Hey Yorkshireman, i still use the real 5250 keyboard here at the company i work with but according to the Support Engr. here at IBM Philippines, the keyboard is no longer manufactured so if the keyboard malfunctions, the replacement will be a terminal pc with the regular keyboard. Im really careful in using the 5250 keyboard. it’s quite overwhelming if your a newbie but if you get used to it, as you said, it’s fun to use.

I still miss the 5251-11.
Best keyboard ever made.
Shift key + F3.. but I think some emulators have buttons where you can just press keys from F13 to F24
