Answer Wiki:
I would run RTVDSKINF. Then you can use PRTDSKINF to see the objects size of the objects on your system. You can sort by size. AN hour or 2 later I would run it again. Then PRTDSKINF and compare the size of the objects to see what has grown. If the disk is growing at .5% an hour, you should be able to find an object that has grown.

…disk utilization is continously increasing after every 30 min . Increament is 0.5% per 30 min .

How much time went by from the first to the last time you checked? How many checks did you make? Were the checks every half hour during a day, or did you check once or twice early at the start of the week and then check again a few hours later? If they were every half hour for a day, was it a normal working day? If you started checking early in the week, what is your system schedule like? Is there a slowdown or a shutdown of activity over weekends, for example?

When I login to as/400 server then there is no any job is runnig…

What do you mean by “there is no any job is runnig”? Do you mean that TCP/IP isn’t running? …no host servers running? …no user batch jobs running? …no user interactive jobs running?

To track disk utilization during the day, setup monitors in iSeries Navigator to see if you have any times where it’s is higher than other times during the day. Go into iNAV > Management Central>monitors>systems.
