AS 400 SCREEN DISPLAY

How do we change the screen's display? The top of the screen shows "Session A [24 x 80]. We need to be able to show more of the information that resides well to the right of the display. The only way we can view that info is to do a "print screen" and paste to Word. We'd like to be able to view all the information without having to go through the print screen, paste to Word and print just to see the last columns. Can you offer any advice on how to reconfigure the display to show more info? My guess is that we need to disply a different session with more columns at a smaller font size, but I know nothing about AS400 systems. We just use the AS400 PRISM software to check our warehouse forklifts who use Prism to log their forklift status, etc.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

at the top of the screen, click on communication, then configure, you will see under type of emulation where you can change the screen size to 27×132

If you are looking at a windows 5250 emulation screen, at the top of the window select EDIT-PREFERENCES-APPEARANCE-WINDOW SETUP. Here you will be able to change the “Session A” information that gets displayed at the top of the window.
