Are CAL’s Needed for Lotus Domino Access?

I have a situation where I log onto an AD Server running Windows 2000, for which I have CAL's available. I then log onto a Domino Server which is on a Windows 2003 server in the same domain to access emails etc. Do I need 2003 CAL's to do this?
