I created an archive .pst file for user. Something happened and all of the e-mails and subfolders did not get moved. I do not know how to get these e-mails back. Any suggestions. Is there a way to get them off of the exchange server?

HI you should be able to simply use powershell and run a command like this to do the full export. you will need admin privileges to do this.

To export the special folders and empty folders of the mailbox to a folder in the destination mailbox, run the following command:

Export-Mailbox -Identity <MailboxIdParameter> -TargetMailbox <MailboxIdParameter> -TargetFolder <Folder_Name>

To export data to a .pst file, run the following command:
Export-Mailbox -Identity <MailboxIdParameter> -PSTFolderPath <Path_Of_PST_Folder>\<File_Name>.pst

The archive folder was created, was showing corrupted so was never able to open until ran scanpst on the file but only 1 e-mail showed up.

In doing this will this pull all e-mail old, meaning everything from exchange for this user or stuff that is in his MB at the present time. The issue is the old e-mail that said it was archived but didn't get archived and now is lost.

You can try some better tools for the same task. Try Lepide Exchange Manager. I'm pretty sure the software will do the task assigned with efficiency.
