For my profession, I created / configured a few styles in Microsoft Word 2010 and they're working great. But I would like to create a specific style for selected words. Can I do this? Any help would be great

Try this one, select the word to which you want to apply the style. On the Home tab, in the styles group, click the style that you want to apply. If the style does not appear there, click the More button to expand the gallery. Now the word/text looks with a particular style by placing your pointer over the style that you want to preview.
