OK... This is somewhat weird. The previous IT Admin created a network using 10.0.0.X. No big deal there, but the gateway is 10.0.0.5. For some reason, it seems that only Macs and iPhones have an issue being about to get on the internet using this configuration.
Apple products connect - get ip, subnet, dns right - (wifi and wired), but they cannot get out... Very strange. Neither fixed or DHCP works.
I have thought of changing to a more usual 10.0.0.1 router config, but the amount of issues this would cause with different hardware with fixed IPs is questionable.
Any ideas why the apple products would have issues?
