 Apple application developer certificate

I own mountain lion on my mac and tried to open an app from a unidentified developer. Particularly to protect my identity because of work I do in democratic struggle in Mexico. I´m talking about the Tor browser. is there any way around this problem. any suggestions?

I assume that the app failed to open. What happened? What error? What messages? How did you try to “open” the app?
