I've looked for the download for Apache Tomcat Server HTTP for AS/400 and OS/400, but can only find versions for Windows, Unix and IS/2. Does anyone know the download location?

Software/Hardware used:
AS/400 94066-170-2290 and OS/400 V4R2

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Apache doesn’t run on OS/400 you can run it on the IFS – what OpSys are you running there.

Yikes! V4R2 ???

For V5R4 you install the licensed program:
5722DG1 *BASE IBM HTTP Server for i5/OS

Voodoo

If you need just an HTTP server, then the one Voodoo mentioned above will work just fine. If you need something to run servlets and JSPs and such, then at V4R2, you would need WebSphere Application Server

I'm wondering if there is an HTTP server on and as a licensed program on the machine at the level V4R2 of OS/400? I'll have to use the licensed programs command and see if that is installed at V4R2. I thought that there was an Apache server available that ran in native OS/400. I appreciate your resolving why I could not find one. The OS also has OS/2 licensed, but I'm guessing that is mainly for communications CA(Client Access or native) between OS/400 and OS/2 machines. There is an native OS/2 apache server but doubt it would run in IFS on AS/400. My purpose is/was to test recent Search 400 tips on using COBOL/400 and a web server to serve web pages, especially web pages displaying data residing in DB2 on the AS/400. Your tips and technical knowledge is appreciated.
