Anyone Have Experiences With Running Oracle in a Sun Solaris Container/Zone


Oracle, Virtualization, Solaris 10, Oracle 10g, Solaris, SAP

We are a SAP / Solaris environment.

We thinking about virtualizing our SAP environments as part of our upgrade to ERP 6.0 using Solaris Zones/Containers. There are two schools of thought as far as the database instances; virtualize the Oracle instance along with the SAP instance or seperate the ORacle databases onto a single physical server.

We will be running Oracle 10G.

I am looking for your experiences in both scenerios or just running Oracle 10g in a Solaris zone/container.
