Any EMC NetWorker users try Amanda Network Backup?
Amanda Network Backup, EMC NetWorker, Network Backup, Open source software, open source backup software
Has anyone moved from EMC NetWorker to Amanda Network Backup? What are the 'gotchas" that we should be aware of? What did you lose - or what did you gain? I'm not interested in White Papers - but if anyone can point me to any non-biased comparative reviews - that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Did you ever end up trying this? We are a huge EMC shop and I am interested in your experience with Amanda. And alse in hearing about why you are thinking of moving from Legato to Amanda.
