What does “in succession mean? Does it mean that RPLLIBL is executed multiple times? And as previously asked, what is the error? Especially, what is the error message identifier? How is the library change done? Is it running in a progran or executed from a command line?

Our AS400 systems were upgraded from V5R3 to V5R4 last year.

Last year? You mean in 2008? Or was that a typo? If it was supposed to be “last month” or “last week”, what cume PTF level did you load?

We did not face such issues previosuly in V5R3 version.

Why do you think that RCLRSC makes any difference? RCLRSC shouldn’t have any affect on a library list.

However, it could easily have an effect on files that have been opened incorrectly. If that’s what is happening, then the better way is to open and close your files correctly. RCLRSC should only be used against files opened in the default activation group. If you’re opening files out of one library from your library list, And then changing your library list, and then going back to process files again while references may need to be resolved to a library that is no longer available, thenI wouldn’t be surprised that errors appeared nor that RCLRSC “fixed” the errors.

But it would probably be because the files are being used incorrectly in the first place. Without knowing a lot more detail, it won’t be possible to say anything about any better way of doing things.
